The moment Cataleya started to climb over everything is when I realized it’s probably time to update her nursery. Subtle though, because I feel like she’s in this weird transition between that nursery and the toddler room if you know what I mean?
I’m slowly updating Cataleya’s room, we’re in the transition between a nursery and toddler room, and it feels a little tricky for me. So we’re doing the updates in stages, and the next thing to tackle was her shoes. Just as bad as us, shoes are everywhere, and I feel I still need more for her. Last week I attempted looking for some shoes, but didn’t see anything in stores! It’s going to be an online kind of shopping week.
I desperately needed to find a better solution to Cataleya headbands. I’ve embarrassedly just shoved them in a zip lock baggie for quite some time.
Right before Thanksgiving Jezriel and I got invited to Saje’s private first peak before their grand opening on that Friday. They are a Canadian company and they just opened their first two stores here in the US. The first one in Malibu and the second in Santa Clarita at the Valencia Mall.
Am I the only parent the neglects decorating their own bedroom? I have to say Cataleya’s room is the most put together, but not fully as I do have one wall I’ve been avoiding. It should of been the other way around, get our room 100% then her’s later 😝, but oh well!
It’s so weird having this little toddler moving, rolling well even lounging around the place. She always preferred me wearing her and now its the complete opposite. I cherish those moments when I get to wear her now!
When Cataleya was born we moved into a new place when she was just a week old. I was surprised we were even able to somewhat put together her nursery three months later.
I have yet to buy more shelves for Cataleya’s books 🙈. It looks like I’m starting to hoard them. Recently, BabyLit sent us a few books 📚 to add to her collection. I chose A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Secret Garden and Alice in Wonderland, I want all of them!
